Description of the job

An internship offer entitled "SYSTEMS TROUBLESHOOTING IMPROVEMENT AT SYSTEMS MAP (M/F)" has just opened at Airbus (Commercial Aircraft), in Toulouse.
You will join the MAP Systems team, a transnational department located in Hamburg and Toulouse, near the Flight Test Departments and the Track.
The Engineering MAP (Mise-Au-Point) is an acronym used at Airbus to designate the Engineering Liaison between the Engineering Design Office on the one hand, and the Final Assembly Chain (FAL), the In-Flight Testing / Runway, the Delivery Centre, on the other hand.
The focus is on short-term troubleshooting (guaranteeing fleet operability) and long-term improvement of the maturity of integrated second-hand systems.
Your main mission will be to develop a problem solving tool
The internship at Systems MAP will give you an insight into the different fields of Airbus (engineering office, Flight Test, Airbus Production, Logistics,...).
This internship offer is open from 05 February 2018 (subject to flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the following key activities:

·  Reading of Sysm documentation
·  Familiarization with troubleshooting tools
·  Analysis of improvement area
·  Creation of implementation plan
·  Implementation of trouble shooting tool
·  Testing and validation of the result on aircraft
·  Documentation of the solution
·  Training and deployment of the solution inside the systems team

Required skills

You have the following experience and skills:

·  Currently in a placement year (Master 1 level) or in the final year of engineering school or equivalent (Master 2), this internship will allow you to validate a training oriented in electronics, electrical, aeronautics or avionics but with a practical experience in computer science.
·  Advanced Database Knowledge
·  Advanced knowledge in Python, Video, HTML
·  Very good oral and written communication skills
·  Excellent analytical capabilities
·  Autonomy
·  Rigour
·  Language skills: advanced levels in French and English
