Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

As the jobholder, you will have the following responsibilities:

·  Contributing to populating/refining the existing generic aircraft engineering systems library in terms of defining/managing its parameters:

1/ Investigating the existing aircraft requirements:

·  Analysing existing specifications,
·  Interviewing specialists to grasp the associated terminology,
·  Analysing the type of parametric requirement properties (invariant or variant, invariable or variable).

2/ Collecting and enhancing the parameter bench and the associated ontology:

·  Evaluating and improving the existing patterns,
·  Standardising and defining the parameters that remain consistent (designs, units, scope of application),
·  Implementing the parameters mentioned above into the Variation models (Features Model) and the SysML Parametric Diagram.

3/ Populating the current library (shared database) with generic aircraft requirements:

·  Rewriting the aircraft requirements to comply with the standardisation of the parameters defined in the Airbus MPP method,
·  Defining/Populating the requirements library in compliance with the official Airbus variation model,
·  Mapping out/Connecting the generic requirements from the library with the existing aircraft requirements in the programmes.

4/ Applying these requirements to a concrete programme:

·  Automatically instantiating the variable requirements to be addressed in a concrete programme context,
·  Finding an appropriate solution for implementing the parameters (Variation model or Parametric model) in accordance with the property type.

5/ Managing all these activities as a project.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree) specialising in Systems Engineering.

You ideally have an initial experience in the field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level.
French: intermediate level.
