Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 4 to 6-month internship.

Within the context of the improvement of the test process, the System Test department is seeking to develop a single management tool for measurements, from the expression of needs up to their exploitation.
This tool will be applied to environmental tests performed on the ground and to experimental measures performed on the first flight for the qualification of space vehicles prototypes.
These tests are complex by their size and by the means they implement. They use a large number of sensors and involve the know-how of various teams from different fields.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).
Tasks & accountabilities

The aim of this internship is to develop the specification of a tool enabling the management of measurement requests, the definition of instrumentation, the integration of chains on the specimen, and the acquisition of measures during testing and their exploitation.
Your main task will be to formalise the existing test process using software that will manage a single database between various stakeholders in the long run. A full assessment with the existing software and those with which this tool will interface with must be performed.
You may validate the requirement expressed by establishing the instrumentation plan on a concrete case being studied for the Ariane 6 launcher or another relevant test.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of engineering school, specialising in Aerospace Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.
