Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within the Industrial Process Engineering department and in the context of the improvement of the paint process (pertaining to the surface treatment area), the topic of the internship will be the implementation of adherence by traction.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

In this context, your main activities will include:

·  Establishing the overview of work already performed on this topic, as well as carrying out a literature review,
·  Identifying the existing solutions on the market,
·  Assessing technical solutions following technical/financial/calendar lines in collaboration with the workshop,
·  Writing a test logic,
·  Writing test plans,
·  Performing tests,
·  Writing a test synthesis with the drafting of reports,
·  Writing the standard operating procedure for its use in manufacturing dossiers,
·  Training operators.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Industrial Engineering, Quality or Surface Treatment Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and are interested in the industrial and/or space sector.

You have the following qualities:

·  Meticulous,
·  Inquisitive,
·  Pragmatism.

You are a team player and you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and you are able to be rapidly independent on this mission.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent.
