Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 4-6-month internship.

Within the context of the launch of the new ISAMI tool on Single Aisle programmes, the Structural Repair Manual (SRM) teal will need a support to ensure the benchmarking of the ISAMI tool for SRM issues (comparing them to current tools/methods).
You will also be requested to develop an in-flight and on the ground load reference base.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Extending the visibility on the new ISAMI tool by studying a concrete case of an SRM principle on a fuselage section (comparing it with existing results)
·  Analysing ground/flight loads in order to improve the current SRM reference base
·  Extracting A/C critical zone by listing the sizing load cases for each break criterion in order to anticipate the impact of load modifications on reparability.

You will participate in meetings with all representatives of the ESEBSX department and the representatives of the departments related to its activities (EGL/ESX).

You will also share your point of view on the current processes implemented in the service.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree) as an Engineer.

A major in the aeronautical field would be a plus.

You ideally have initial experience of an internship in structure stress and you have basic skills in static stress.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level,
French: negotiation level.
