Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within the Airbus Helicopters Transformation Plan, the management have launched a project to rework the process management (CES project: Company Excellence System). The aim of the CES project is to go through the existing reference documents and to put in place new references which can be used by the management to improve value stream efficiency which is under their responsibility.
In total there are over 700 procedures (100 for Spares and 600 for MRO) involved in this project. The Method and Tools team for the Spares and MRO activities has to face many requests to deploy this new initiative in addition to the ones already existing on quality improvement, safety and competitiveness.

A vacancy for internship has therefore arisen to support the team in place to absorb this work load.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will have a major role in the setting up of this new CES approach for the Spares and MRO activities.
Your main mission will include:

·  Assessing the existing documents locally and cross-functionally with the operational activities,
·  Based on standards defined by the CES project, helping to steer the reworking of the documents (deleting, archiving, fusion, completely rewriting)
·  Implementing measures for effective and collaborative reporting (meeting content, frequency and participants)
·  Facilitating the appropriation at the management line level.

Required skills

You are in the final year of Engineering School, Business School, University or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Project Management.

Ideally, you have some experience in this field.

You have the following skills and knowledge:

·  You are meticulous, independent, and have the ability to summarise
·  You have the ability to work cross-functionally,
·  Good communication skills,
·  Knowledge of basic IT tools (Microsoft Office pack).

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent level.
