Description of the job

Airbus (Nantes) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 3 to 6-month internship.

You will be in charge of the optimisation of the steering of the plant metallic and composite part procurement service (SQCDP, PPS, Process Configuration, etc.)

This internship will start on 2nd November 2016 (date subject to certain flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Analysing the value through Bill of Materials (BoM/RC)
·  Improving the management of composite material expiry dates in order to optimise the scrapping rate
·  Developing a tool allowing to automate traceability
·  Improving the composite forecast management tool
·  Defining a technical solution in collaboration with central function and IT in order to integrate specifications in orders

Required skills

You are completing a Master's degree or in the final year of a business or engineering school, specialising in Procurement Management.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and you have good knowledge of IT.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: intermediate level.
