Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Your mission will be:

·  To improve and develop the supplier's performance by providing expert support at supplier site, by covering end to end processes and by using continuous improvement methodologies,
·  To develop the Supply Chain to the appropriate maturity level in order to support the suppliers to ensure the OQOTOC performance (On Quality, On Time, On Cost),
·  To develop the quality mindset & continuous improvement.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

·  Identifying the supplier's weaknesses, capabilities, capacities, axis of improvements and development to improve the supply chain maturity and robustness,
·  Preparing the mission statement, establishing and agreeing with the stakeholders of the supply chain pertinent objectives, targets and Corrective, Improvement and Development (CID) action plan,
·  Driving the implementation of supply chain continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, 6 sigma, Problem solving, knowledge sharing...), and tools (indicators, process controls, test means...) at supplier's site,
·  Managing the supplier and report regularly on actions plan, development plan achievements,
·  Supporting the Supply Chain operation team for recovery plan on critical issues to ensure supplier's performance targets are achieved,
·  Contributing to anticipate recurring supplier quality issues and initiate preventive measures.

Required skills

You are in the final year of an engineering or business school or a Master's degree at university (5th year), specializing in Engineering, Quality and Methods or Project Management.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and good knowledge of:

·  Pack Office,
·  Quality,
·  Project Management,
·  Supply Chain Change Management,
·  Supplier Improvement and Development methodologies (LEAN, 6 Sigma…),
·  Risk Management.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: intermediate level.
