Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within the Mechanical Parts Scheduling department, your mission will consist in the analysis and reduction of the cycles of dossiers launched in manufacturing, in order to have an impact on the costs related to Work In Progress (WIP).

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Elaborating an IT tool that determines the real cycle of manufacturing orders,
·  Comparing and realigning the nominal cycle (SAP data) with the real cycle,
·  Establishing action plans to reduce the cycles.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Supply Chain Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and have skills in:

·  Production/logistics management
·  Computer science
·  SAP (would be a plus)

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent level.
