Description of the job

An internship on the Study of Virtual Assistant Technologies/ Human-Machine Dialogue (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Operations SAS TOULOUSE at its Saint-Martin site.

The aim of this internship is the Study of virtual assistant technologies and the design of user-oriented tools.

This internship will start on 1st February, 2017 (subject to some flexibility) for a period of 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

It is assumed that, when a human communicates with a machine, his/her behaviour (verbal, paraverbal, non-verbal) is significantly different than when he/she communicates with another human.

Your missions will include:

·  Comparative study of behaviours: Do we communicate differently depending on whether we are speaking to a human or a machine (various parameters such as age, gender, education, culture, digital habits, etc. will have to be analysed)
·  Importance of the voice in the induced effects (synthetic voice or recorded human voice).

Required skills

·  You are in the final year of a Master's degree, in Specialized Master or in an end-of-studies internship (5-year degree)
·  Knowledge of the following fields: psycholinguistics, linguistics, Artificial Intelligence communication
·  Advanced level of English and Advanced level of French.
