Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

In the context of development of a space launcher on-board software package, various tests are conducted conventionally: Unitary tests, Integration tests and Validation tests.
These different types of tests have different objectives and are performed in potentially different environments (emulated or actual platforms).

This internship will start on 3rd July 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

The prime objective of the internship is to analyse these different types of tests in order to answer the following questions:

·  Although the test objectives are different, do these types of tests have any common points? Which?
·  Is any optimisation possible? Can any type of test be based on or supplement any other type of test?
·  What can be said of the emulated platforms in comparison with actual platforms? What can be concluded on the coverage of the code?

This theoretical analysis will be based on the results of a test campaign (consisting of unitary tests, integration tests and validation tests) on a current project.

The second objective of the internship is to establish a tool to analyse the code coverage resulting from different test platforms (emulated or actual).

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of an engineering school, specialising in IT / Software.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
