Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 4 to- 6-months internship.

Airbus Safran Launchers is a contractor for the MPCV-ESM project aiming at developing the Service Module for the NASA ORION Crew Vehicle project. In the framework of the MPCV-ESM project, a test facility (so called ESM-QF) is setup for MPCV-ESM level check-out activities.
The ESM-QF is composed of Hardware (ESM Avionics and check-out means) and software (Simulation, Monitoring and Control) items.

This internship will start on 1st April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will join the ESM-QF team who is in charge of developing and integrating the ESM-QF product; you will contribute to the Integration and validation of the facilities:

·  Integration of HW cabinets,
·  Integration of the ESM-QF simulator in the facility (e.g. with HW cabinets),
·  Preparation of Tests procedures based on a Supervision environment (SW development approach,
·  so called Automated procedures,
·  close to Tests engineers).

You will ensure the following tasks:

·  Developing of Automated Procedures,

Taking in charge the development of integration procedures and running them,

·  Supporting tests assessments (Tool development as necessary).

Required skills

You are in the 4th or the final year of an engineering school or university (Bac + 4/5), specialising in Electronics and Electrical Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience and have good knowledge of:

·  Operating System UNIX and Windows,
·  Knowledge in oscilloscopes and/or signals generator means,
·  Data representation (XML, etc.),
·  Basic software programming (C/C++, JAVA),

RS422 protocols knowledge would be a plus.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent level.
