Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

The Modelling and Simulation department develops test means in order to validate Aircraft Systems throughout the development phase of the aircraft, from specification and design, up to integration of real equipment. These means include software components which simulates Aircraft behaviors and its environment. It also simulates piece of equipment of the Aircraft such as mechanical, avionics and cockpit components.

The objective of your internship is to develop a demonstrator of a complete test automation platform for simulation applications. The objective is to run automatically test procedures to validate simulation applications.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main mission will include:

·  Identifying and integrating all technical resources into an experimental simulation platform, and providing to end-users with support. End-users will develop and run their automated test procedures.
·  Participating to the design and execution of automated test procedures.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in Information Technology.

You ideally have an initial experience and you have knowledge of Programming languages: C, C++ and Python.

You also have notions in avionics buses (ARINC429, AFDX, CAN) and in Configuration Management (SVN/GIT).

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
