Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 4-month internship.

In the frame of UAV Research and Technology project, you will participate in the development of an embedded software for vehicle based on Airbus specification. The objective is to achieve a demonstration.

This internship will start on 15th November 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Proposing a software architecture with a system engineer,
·  Developing a software basic architecture,
·  Integrating communication with ground station,
·  Integrating sensors,
·  Defining and executing software unitary tests,
·  Participating to ground and flight system tests.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an Engineering school, specialising in Software Engineering Design and Development.

You ideally have initial experience in software development and have good knowledge of:

·  C and C++,
·  Linux and windows environment,
·  Java,
·  Python.

Basic knowledges in UAV could be a plus but is not mandatory.

You are recognized for your ability to propose new solutions.

You are a good team player and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
