Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship is part of a project to create a hardware simulator of the Telemetry, Command and Ranging (TCR) sub-system. The hardware part of the simulator exists. The performances of the simulator have been characterised. Within the RF/CU/Optics Engineering team of the AIT test workshop, you will be in charge of developing the software part (control/command of equipment and human-machine interface).

This internship will start on 3rd April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Studying telecommand, telemetry and ranging sub-systems,
·  Studying test sequences to validate the TCR (test scripts) sub-system,
·  Studying the work specifications of the simulator,
·  Developing the control interface for RF measurement instruments,
·  Developing the graphic interface and functional core of the simulator (Eclipse RCP),
·  Writing technical documentation associated to development.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Industrial Computer Science.

You ideally have an initial experience in this field.

You have knowledge in:

·  Experience in the development of Java applications,
·  Knowledge of Eclipse
·  UML modelling
·  And databases.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: advanced level.
