Description of the job
Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
The Modelling and Simulation department develops test means in order to validate Aircraft Systems throughout the development phase of the aircraft, from specification and design, up to integration of real equipment and airline crew training. These means include software components which simulate the behavior of the Aircraft, its systems and its environment. They also include the simulation of piece of Aircraft equipment such as mechanical parts, avionics and cockpit components.
The objective of your internship is to develop a proof of concept for using consumer electronic devices, such as Arduino or Raspberry Pi, to interface real elements with the simulator. Typical elements to interface are: potentiometers, buttons and LEDs, or serial buses like RS232, RS422, CAN or ARINC 429. Several prototypes will be integrated during the internship.
This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).
