Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within Airbus Defence & Space, you will join the Product Security Office team within the Secure Land Communication entity as an intern.
The goal of this entity is to define security solutions and products, in particular in the field of professional radio communication networks.
Your role will be to study security solutions for Android terminals, from the perspective of the Linux kernel as well as the user space.
You will use an existing risk analysis of known vulnerabilities to suggest countermeasures to implement in the terminal to harden it.

This internship will start on 2nd February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Establish a state of the art of Android's known vulnerabilities,
·  Studying the threats and risks associated with the vulnerabilities,
·  Studying the countermeasures to be implemented and the technical means by which to achieve them,
·  Writing a recommendation for Android hardening,
·  Implementing the hardened system to Android 6.0 or above.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of Engineering school, specialising in IT.

Ideally, you have initial experience in this field.

You have proven knowledge of:

·  Android,
·  ISO 27001/27002.

You are very work-motivated and have good service skills.

You know how to summarise, have a team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level
French: fluent level.
