Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

As an intern, your role will be to develop a low-cost video system that meets two main needs:

·  A video system that is available in the cockpit in real time to monitor BELUGA operations performed in the upper cargo area,
·  A video system for the ground and flight tests used for the BELUGA XL test campaign.

Most of these methods should be configurable easily and quickly.

This internship will start on 1st March, 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will perform the various steps of the project:

·  Collecting requirements,
·  State of the art,
·  Feasibility,
·  Designs, including the system integration designs,
·  Prototyping,
·  Testing
·  Industrialisation, if possible.

You need to demonstrate flexibility and curiosity and an ability to use off-the-shelf products and find low-cost solutions with the support of the BTEV teams.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Embedded Systems.

You ideally have an initial experience in the field.

Ideally, you have good knowledge in aeronautical engineering and project management.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level.
French: intermediate level.
