Description of the job

An internship offer in Quality Assurance Satellite and Spacecraft (m/f) has just been opened at Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse.

The trainee will join the Quality Assurance Department of the Toulouse Test Center, he/she will be part of a team whose mission includes ensuring the conformity of test processes for satellites and spacecraft.
The entity under which the internship department is located includes the Quality functions necessary for the Assembly, Integration and Testing of satellites and spacecraft.

You are looking for a mandatory internship of 4 to 6 months to validate your academic year as a Generalist/Space or Production Engineer, a specialization in Quality or Process would be a plus.

This internship is to be filled from mid-April to early May (date subject to flexibility)

Tasks & accountabilities

Based on the company's BMS (Business Management System) framework, the department maintains a set of quality documents reflecting the implementation of the Quality Policy.
Among these documents, the Quality Plans are major documents.

In this context, you will be responsible for the following main activities:

- Study of all Quality requirements applicable to the entity
- Following this study, identification, on the basis of a compliance matrix, of the correspondences between the documents describing the Quality activities and the requirements.
- Integration in the documentation of recent organizational changes
- Implementation of the maintenance routine for Quality documents.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Required skills

- You prepare a Master's degree (or equivalent) in Generalist/ Space or Production
- A specialization in Quality or Process would be a plus
- Good knowledge of the Pack-Office
- Fluent French and English advanced
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- Ability to work independently
