Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for 6-month internship.

You will evolve within a team of 6 persons (German and French).
The department receives all the in-service problems the moment they affect aircraft production. The team directs the issues towards - and follows up - on different Airbus plants (mainly the FALs in Toulouse and Hamburg, and more extensively in the 4 core countries).
You will be in direct contact with a tangible activity and the problems that affect the in-service fleet and you will be at the centre of the action.

This internship will start on 01 december 2016 (subject to certain flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main activities will be the following:

·  Summarising customer feedback and, based on this summary, raising data quality problems.
·  Proposing avenues for improvement.
·  Understanding the context and various interfaces.
·  Creating a prediction based on the problems that arise (detecting the instances that are not a priority).
·  Understanding what the problem is about (this requires having a relatively technical mind-set) and respecting confidentiality.
·  Suggesting ideas to simplify the quality inspectors' activity.

Required skills

You are in Business school - General/Aeronautical engineering school - 4-year degree

You are proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and Visual Basics Excel.

You are curious, autonomous and meticulous and are able to analyse and summarise.

You are a real team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level.
French: intermediate level.
