Description of the job

An internship in Production Management (m/f) has arisen within Airbus at its Blagnac site.

This internship will start on 20th March 2017 (subject to some flexibility) for a 6-month period.

Tasks & accountabilities

The main activities of stations 18/15 are to carry out the final tests of the aircraft (pressure test, fuel test, etc.)
Once these tests are completed, we prepare the aircraft for its first flight. The first flight also allows the aircraft to be transported to Hamburg.
In this context, within the production group, several functions work together (production, quality, tests, logistics, technical support, MAP + contact with the pilots for time slots at airport)

Within the external stations of the A380 FAL assembly line, you will be in charge of the management of a project aiming to improve the autonomy of stations 18/15 (flight line) through a greater involvement of workers for ramp-up and upcoming changes in the organisation.

Your main tasks will include:

·  Thinking about how to optimise our organisation
·  Redefining function tasks,
·  Targeting problem areas,
·  Improving processes
·  Maintaining an optimal level of quality.

You will mainly be in charge of the following activities:

·  Steering meetings
·  Reporting
·  Providing support to operational staff on various topics, such as communication, passing on instructions, steering activity

Required skills

You are in the 5th year of engineering school or university, specialising in Project Management with ideally production-oriented approach.

You are a team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as good listening skills.
Independent and driving force for suggestions, you will report to the station 18 production manager.

You have a negotiation level of English and an advanced level of French.

You are proficient with the Office Pack and the tools required for project follow-up.
