Description of the job

A vacancy for an internship in Procurement & Supply Chain Quality (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space in Toulouse.

You will join the Supplier Development department.

Within the TOP organisation, the Supply Chain Quality aims at significantly contributing to the global Supply Chain performance (on quality/on time/on cost) and compliance in order to meet all Business Line requirements.
Within this context, the mission of the Supplier Development department is to define, implement and run an effective and common Supplier Development process across Airbus Defence and Space Supply Chain which support the suppliers to reach the requested OQOTOC targets.

This internship will start in February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Working in Procurement & Supply Chain Quality organisation and in close collaboration with the head of, you will be in charge of:

·  The definition and implementation of the organisation reporting scheme and tools,
·  Lean improvement projects identification and execution,
·  The implementation of Visual Management principles and tools (i.e. SQCDP, Control Room, etc.),
·  The administration of Communication tools (i.e. Sharepoint).

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

·  In the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university or engineering school, specialising in Quality, Supply Chain and/or Manufacturing,
·  ideally initial experience in this field,
·  Knowledge of Lean and Excel would be an advantage,
·  Good communication skills,
·  Team player,
·  An advanced level of English, French would be a plus.
