Description of the job
Airbus (Blagnac) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
The Procurement Operations Material and Parts (POM) commodity department is responsible for Material and Parts Supplier management (800 suppliers in scope):
· Managing Material and Parts Supply Chain,
· Providing full visibility to each Aircraft Programme (Single Aisle, A380, A350, Military, Long Range),
· Launching Supplier Development projects,
· Ensuring alignment with Procurement Operations Strategy, Methods & Processes department (POY).
You will be responsible for supporting POM Programme Interface manager with internal cross-functional activities.
This internship will start on 4th January 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will include:
· Generating monthly performance Key Progress Indicators in line with commodity requirements,
· Creating communication material for the department (org chart, brochure, etc.),
· Organising internal and external events.
You will benefit from experience in:
· Knowledge/working in an international and multicultural environment,
· Project management and relationship building,
· Experience in the Supply Chain aerospace industry,
· Working in a dynamic procurement and Supply Chain function.
Profil recherché
Required skills
You are in the 2nd year of a master degree or in the 5th year of a business / management / engineering school or university, specialising in Supply Chain or Project Management.
You ideally have initial experience in this field.
You have:
· IT proficiency (MS Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access, Word),
· Experience as a proactive project leader (incl. e.g. planning, reporting and follow-up of mitigation actions),
· Knowledge to make macros that connect to Business Warehouse (SAP PBA),
· Knowledge of SAP would be a plus.
