Description of the job

Airbus Blagnac is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

In the framework of the Airbus cabin strategy development, the cabin procurement department has initiated a series of sourcing topics that need to be brought to a launch stage.

This internship will start on 4th September (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main responsibility will include:

The mission will be focused in supporting the procurement cabin strategy in two axis:

·  PRIMARY (70%):

Supporting the development of Airbus cabin Strategy 2.0, which includes several streams of development to link our internal customer needs with our sourcing department roadmap. This means leading the development of a method for a more 'integrated strategy', which may include driving specific dossiers as a pilot, and supporting the 'strategy leader' in implementing this method. The focus of the work would be on linking market and supplier landscape analysis to business drivers in order to provide a roadmap on long-term vision and shorter term operational implementation.

·  SECONDARY (30%):

Supporting the deployment of digital solutions being set-up by the team and accompanying them to their delivery status. This includes bridging to cabin procurement department business requirements and existing streams of digital tool developments,

Supporting the deployment of existing sourcing strategy department projects covering topics, such as claims, price calculation and costing.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of a management school, specialising in Project Management, Procurement.

You have knowledge of:

·  Project management,
·  Data management,
·  Procurement.

You have the following qualities:

·  Independent, flexible, persistent goal-driven approach,
·  Basic knowledge of airline market,
·  Strategic vision, imagination and proactivity,

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level.
French: intermediate level.
