Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 9th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Guaranteeing planning, control and management of a company and/or specific functions
·  Managing targets, workload and staffing and contributing to discussions and decision-making at management level
·  Promoting and supporting the company in the improvement of its financial and operational performance
·  Promoting performance management and improvement
·  Analysing quantitative and qualitative data on performance in relation to budgets/targets, highlighting divergences and risks & opportunities
·  Proposing/coordinating mitigation measures, if necessary in order to support discussions and decision-making at management level
·  Monitoring Operations and Programmes in terms of actuals versus forecasts, corrective measures, hourly rates and price verification
·  Contributing to the management of acquired value, when necessary, and contributing to cash-flow forecasting (capital expenditure, inventory and expenditure planning for suppliers)
·  Implementing financial processes and tools, basic legal and Human Resources processes, basic project management skills, and technical knowledge in operational domains
·  Ensuring effective planning and reporting within given time frames
·  Preparing consolidated financial reports (defining, standardising and ensuring consistency and conformity, including tools)
·  Managing targets defined by Programmes (exceptional and recurrent costs) by means of a convergence process
·  Planning workload and labour as per objectives and operational strategy, projects and management resources in parallel with Human Resources
·  Promoting the financial and workload planning/forecast process (synthesising plans and encouraging contributions)
·  Providing support for Merger & Acquisition activities.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a business school, a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Procurement/Management Controlling.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: advanced level,
French: intermediate level.
