Description of the job

Airbus (Nantes) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

This internship will start on 16th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

1/ Input: Customer and Company Quality Assurance standards and requirements, Accreditation Systems, Airworthiness requirements, Research & Development studies (R&D).

2/ Mission:

·  Defining the Quality standards for Quality technical activities relating to Laboratory activities, materials, special processes, Calibration, Non-Destructive Testing, notably the associated Accreditation Systems,
·  Supporting other ECG functions within the scope of Continued airworthiness for EC helicopters,
·  Leading Research & Development relating to Quality technical activities and providing suitable technical assistance to all other functions.

3/ Output: Eurocopter Regulation in accordance with the international cooperation standards (NADCAP, ISO 17025),

·  Defining Quality Assurance procedures and rules for materials, special processes, non-destructive testing, calibration and laboratory activities,
·  Developing and implementing new non-destructive testing technologies, calibration tools/methods.
·  Assisting other functions in terms of Technical Quality Assurance.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering/business school or a Master's degree or in 5th year at university, specialising in Project Management.

You ideally have an initial experience in this field.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent.
