Description of the job

An internship offer entitled "PROCESS, METHODS AND TOOLS FOR ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (M/F)" has just opened at Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse.
You will join the Engineering Methods & Tools department (EYDZ), which aims to offer methods, processes and tools to support system designers, and more specifically the EYNE department in charge of the Electrical Power Center system for all aircrafts programs. The objective of the internship will be to realize a demonstrator (which will concern the A320 and A350 programs), by modeling or reusing existing models of the Electrical Architecture in relation to the Electrical Data database (called Elcodata) which hosts all the electrical design parameters.
This internship will start on March 2018 (date subject to flexibility) and will last 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

You will be responsible for the following key activities:

·  Benchmark on different existing modelling solutions
·  Participation in the creation of a digital model for the modelling of electrical architecture.
·  Demonstration of the interconnection between electrical database and electrical models.

Required skills

You have the following experience and skills:

·  Currently in the last year of engineering school or equivalent, the internship will allow you to validate a diploma of level Bac+5 (Master 2) in electrical engineering, with a strong MBSE and database dimension.
·  Advanced knowledge in MBSE and database
·  Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or equivalent, as well as Big Data will be a plus.
·  Strong team spirit

·  Language skills: negotiation level in English and advanced in French
