Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for a 4-month internship.

You will work in the context of a collaborative project between the plant Quality teams and the Engine Pylon Design Office at the St. Eloi plant.
The subject is the automation of concession sketch creation.
It will consist of creating a database in Access or in another programme capable of managing 2D or 3D drawings, photos and sketches according to a given architecture.
This database must be able to link to Word which is used to create concession sketches.
The sketches will be created in line with the Airbus drafting standards and the guide for drafting concessions.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

As the jobholder, you will have the following responsibilities:

·  Reducing the return rate of concessions between the Design Office and Quality,
·  Reducing the time it takes to create concession sketches,
·  Improving and standardising concession sketches.

Required skills

You are in the second year of an engineering school, university or equivalent (4-year degree), specialising in Engineering/General Engineering.

You ideally have an initial experience in the field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You have knowledge in:

·  Micro-computing (Word, Excel, Access),
·  Ability to use Catia would be a plus,
·  Basic knowledge of industrial drawings.

English: advanced level.
French: intermediate level.
