Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 5-6 month internship.

Real time processing on the latest generation FPGAs uses processors connected to a programmable array. The link between these two worlds requires highly efficient input/output software architecture.

This internship will start on 1st April 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Implementing an Embedded Linux development chain for ARM processors embedded on Zynq,
·  Defining a high-speed software-hardware interface for which you develop the low-level drivers,
·  Developing an acquisition, processing, recording and visualisation video application to assess the system performance.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, the second year of a Master's degree or the 5th year of university, specialising in Engineering/Electronics/Microwave, more specifically in Digital Electronics.

You ideally have some initial experience.

You have skills in the following areas:

·  C / C++
·  Linux.

Knowledge of VHDL would be a plus.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level.
French: fluent.
