Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for 5-month internship.

The "Aircraft Availability and e-operations" Department in charge within Airbus Design Office organisation to develop solutions enabling the Airlines to ease and optimize their daily operations and improve the operational availability of the Aircraft.

This is done by developing various functions in the area of Maintenance and Flight Operation which are supported by an onboard information System connected to the Information System of the Airline.

You will be involved on the Printer strategy product Line. Up to now, various printers are used on the different programs for multiple functional operational purpose. The goal of this study is to gather all needs, and to propose a technical convergence between programs.
All topics will be taken into account from technical to operational.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will perform the following activities whose objective is to contribute to a Multi Programs Printer Evolution plan:

·  Analysing the lansdscape of the various Printer solutions and suppliers on the various aircraft programs,
·  Analysing the technical requirements and operational constraints associated to the printers,
·  Evaluating the in service situation of printers (removals, spares...),
·  Analysing the economics aspects of the printer both from Airbus and Airlines point of view,
·  Elaborating scenarios for Printer evolution, simplification and/or replacement by other means.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in Engineering / General Engineering.

You ideally have an initial experience.

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: advanced level.
