Description of the job

Cassidian CyberSecurity (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 4-month internship.

Within Airbus Defence and Space CyberSecurity, you will join the Solutions Development team as an intern.

The main mission of this team is to develop and maintain solutions used to manage supervision and security of information systems. The Solutions Development team produces written software with a high level of quality by applying DevOps and Agile (Scrum & XP) practices. Close management of the history of the source code with git, TDD and continuous integration with Jenkins are already an integral part of the team's standard process.

The projects are currently developed using several languages, for example C/Python/JavaScript and Java/JavaScript. Management of binaries today, whether they are external libraries or compiled artefacts, is particularly complex, notably for frequent update problems, security maintenance services and intellectual property license checking.

This internship will start on 2nd of January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

The internship will be composed of several phases:
1. State of the art of binary encoding technologies and related tools
2. Installing and experimenting with different tools
3. Installing of one or two complete chains. As well as a report on the internship, you will produce the installation elements of the complete chain (Snapshots of VMs or installation scripts)

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Studying binary encoding technologies compatible with C/Python/JavaScript and Java/JavaScript languages.
·  You will integrate them with the other current production pipeline blocks in order to find an optimal combination (pip, maven, ivy, npm, apt, yum, artifactory, nexus)

Required skills

You are in the second or final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or in the 4th or 5th year of university, specialising in Information Technology.

You are a proficient user of UNIX systems.
You know several of the following languages: Java, Python, C, JavaScript
You can work autonomously.

English: intermediate level.
French: fluent
