Description of the job
Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.
As the Prime Contractor for major space vehicle and launcher development programmes, Airbus Safran Launchers design and produce hardware/software development projects aimed at improving the engineering and production of space systems. In the context of Ariane 6, Airbus Safran Launchers is developing Monitoring & Control of ground resources based on the new European generic kernel, the European Ground System - Common Core (EGS-CC).
In this transnational context, you will join the Electrical & Software Qualification department in which you will integrate the project teams responsible for the engineering and development activities for M&C. You will acquire the skills required to participate in the migration to EGS-CC. You will then participate in development activities for the integration and validation of the software interfaces between the EGS-CC generic kernel and the resources and tools of the future ARIANE 6 programme.
This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your tasks will include:
· Recovering user needs and the associated engineering activities,
· Participating in the development of the interfaces for which your team is responsible,
· Participating in the integration and validation activities with the team.
Required skills
You are in the final year of engineering school or equivalent, specialising in Engineering/ Simulation, Modelling. You ideally have initial experience in this field.
Ideally, you have initial work experience.
You have the following technical skills:
· Object-oriented design,
· C, C++
· Java,
· Linux system,
· VMWARE virtualisation environment,
· Eclipse development environment,
· V Cycle and V&V processes,
· Networks and protocols.
This position will require security clearance or eligibility for clearance by the recognised authorities.
English: intermediate level,
French: intermediate level.
