Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within our department, you will join a team of 25 people dedicated to the architecture of innovative networks (fixed, tactical, radio, etc.) and their management (set-up of ITIL processes) in an international context.

You will work on modelling a VPN network from virtual routers via the Cisco CML tool.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Analysing and studying the VPN architecture to be set up
·  Familiarising yourself with the Cisco CML tool and writing a tool user manual
·  Implementing the VPN architecture in the tool and testing configurations
·  Connecting the virtual infrastructure to the physical network equipment of the platform and performing end-to-end testing.

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, of university or of an engineering school, specialising in IT, Network Engineering and Telecommunications.

You ideally have some initial experience in the field and are able to work independently.

You have knowledge in:

·  LAN/WAN and VPN IP networks
·  SDN networks
·  Network virtualisation.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level
French: fluent.
