Description of the job

An internship offer "Model-Based System Engineering Techniques (MBSE) (m/f)" has just opened up within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft), in Toulouse.
You will join the Project Continuity department in charge of the engineering work package for the preparation of the new aircraft development plan.
The setting of the C. A.D. parameters has revolutionized the way we define physical product descriptions in recent years, making it much easier to manage variability. In the context of the generalisation of model-based systems engineering approaches (MBSE), we plan to extend this concept of parameterisation to requirements, specifications and the chain of related models.
Your mission will be to explore and develop a prototype of this approach, within a team that is reshaping the aircraft development process on a global scale, with many opportunities to apply ideas to practical examples.
This internship will start on 8 January 2018 and will last 6 months.

You will be responsible for the following key activities:

·  Testing/exploring methods or tools (capability)
·  Try to draw up a methodology

Required skills

You have the following experience and skills:

·  Currently in the last year of engineering school or equivalent, you are preparing a Master degree in systems and electronics.
·  You must have a first experience of simulation on tools such as Matlab / Simulink
·  You master the Office Pack
·  You know how to be adaptable
·  You have a great curiosity, a strong desire to learn and investigate beyond the prerequisites. You particularly appreciate the technical aspects.
·  Your ability to integrate as a team must be significant
