Description of the job

Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

If you are interested in innovation in the aeronautics sector, this internship may be for you. It is offered by the "Flight Operations & Cockpit" department within the Airbus Design Office.
Incidents are regularly reported regarding near collisions between aircraft operating on a same runway. Their frequency is likely to increase with the increase in traffic, hence the need to develop prevention means.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will be as follows:

·  Developing a model for conflicts between aircraft, whose relevance shall be verified using a series of operational scenarios.
·  In a 2nd phase, this tool will be used to consolidate the function requirements during discussions with the pilots

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, completing a Master's degree or at university (5th year), specialising in Logistics.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.

You have the following qualities:

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: Intermediate level,
French: Fluent level.
