Description of the job

Airbus Blagnac is looking for an intern for a 6 months internship.

You will integrate the Systems MAP team which is a transnational department located in Hamburg and Toulouse close to Flight Test and Flight Line.

Engineering MAP (Mise-Au-Point) is an acronym used at Airbus for Liaison Engineering between the Engineering Design Office on the one side and FAL (Final Assembly Line), Flight Test/Line, Delivery Centre on the other side.
With several system and programms teams managed in a matrix organization, the department covers MAP activities for different systems on A350 XWB, A380, A330 and A320 aircrafts.

This internship will start on 4th September (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Delivering teams dashboards and maintain the A350 MAP systems,
·  Getting configuration for the EYIM department across all Systems team and to support the deployment of Systems MAP knowledge sharing data base,
·  Being in charge of an improvement project supported by a technical tutor from one of the following Systems Teams,

During the internship you will work close together with the MAP systems specialists. Your will work in transnational project team.
The internship at Systems MAP will allow get an insight into various areas of Airbus (e.g. Design Office, Flight Test, Airbus Production, Logistics,...).

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an engineering school, specialising in IT Engineering.

You have knowledge of:

·  Practically proven IT competences (e.g. data bases, SAP, video editing tools, Python)
·  Systems engineering optional (e.g. electronics, avionics, fluid mechanics)

You have the following qualities:

You have good analytical and problem solving skills,
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

English: intermediate level.
French: fluent
