Description of the job

A vacancy for an IT development engineering internship has arisen within Airbus Toulouse. You will join the aircraft documentation department.
The purpose of the internship is to develop a single information system which will optimise the work of users and the follow-up of activities. The department currently uses more than 40 different tools and 7 different data bases. Furthermore, all the activities and products are not covered by this information system. The project is managed by a team which includes:

·  a project leader
·  three people in charge of collecting the department's needs
·  two people in charge of defining the architecture and specifications
·  four developers (including the two architects)

This internship will start in March 2017 (date subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

More specifically, you will be in charge of the following activities:

·  Participating in the development of versions 1.1 and 2.0
·  Becoming familiar with the environment and system which is being developed
·  Updating the user guide
·  Writing technical specifications
·  Development (User interface in ASP.Net and controlling tools in VB.Net)
·  Drawing up the documentation relating to the operation of the parts developed
·  Participating in project follow-up meetings
·  Participating in user training

Required skills

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

·  2nd year of a Master's degree in a university or 5th year of an Engineering School, specialising in Information Technology,
·  Knowledge of NET. Language and SQL Server
·  Knowledge of IIS software
·  Advanced level of English and intermediate level of French.
