Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for 6-month internship.

This internship will take place in Toulouse, in the A380 Final Assembly Line, among the MAP (Mise Au Point) team.

This internship will start on 3rd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

This detailed Finite Element Model (FEM) will be used to study the junction process.
It will be used to assess what are the best repair solutions to apply when facing gap problems. Measurements on Aircraft will be performed to correlate the model.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a master's or the 5th year of engineering school, university or equivalent specialising in Stress Engineering.

You ideally have an initial experience.

You have knowledge of:

·  FEM modelling (PATRAN/NASTRAN, ABAQUS, HYPERMESH),
·  Metallic strength (static),
·  Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

You are a strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Intermediate level.
