Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 4-month internship.

The mobile router is a future Airbus product performing an IP routing over heterogeneous

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.

This internship will start on 27th June 2016 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

In the frame of a large tender, you are invited to provide support in the two following areas:

A-1) Deploying and maintaining the SharePoint based data base required to structuring and concurrent multiple editing of the main element of the offer, including the Work Break Down structure, the cost breakdown structure, the Organisation breakdown structure and the deliverables.
The purpose of this database is to ensure the overall consistency between all these categories of information.
The work will include the production of the different form required to help team member enter their different input, the report and export to be included in the final offer, the consistency check required across the different set of information.

A-2) Supporting the definition of the user need in Information management and information technology required by the team in charge to run the project in case the bid is won. These needs would include for ~200 users distributed in 4 different sites in France, Spain and Germany the following capabilities:

·  Office automation tools
·  personal labtop
·  printing services
·  telephony services
·  videoconferencing services
·  local area network connectivity
·  secured internet access
·  network and computer security (IDS, antivirus, firewall)
·  multisite collaboration environment

The user need definition would be considered as the baseline to define the cost associated to the delivery of such IM/IT services.

In parallel and complement to task A above, you will provide occasional support to the general IM improvement service initiative aiming at detecting deficiencies and underperformances in the internal IM services used by the team and interface with the technical team in charge of the troubleshooting and fixing the anomalies.

This role will involve some travel (Toulouse and Munich) and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required skills

You are completing a 3 or 4 year degree, specialising in IT.

You ideally have initial experience in this field and you have knowledge of:

·  data,
·  network.

A knowledge of Sharepoint environment would be a plus.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level.
