Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will join the Airbus Group Enterprise Risk Management department.

The objective of this department is to connect Macro/Micro-Economic data with the Business indicators to identify meaningful correlations. Several macro/micro economic open sources macro/micro economic data are available on the net. They must be cross-checked and analysed to extract the information that are relevant for further link with the business indicators. These business indicators must also be selected and worked-out to clarify the key useful dimensions.

The mission consists in collecting and analysis all data to put them in form so that the correlations between them can be detected and evaluated.

In practice, the mission consists in elaborating a practical way to get the expected results from the raw data and produce a first analysis with the available data:

·  Collect the raw data,
·  Treat them and produce a report on the identified correlations,
·  Elaborate a process to reproduce regularly this analysis,
·  Provide recommendations to improve the process and enrich the result.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Understanding macro/micro economic & business data, getting some from the net and analysing them,
·  Contacting Airbus necessary people to understand the raw data meaning if necessary,
·  Crossing bridge the data to detect correlations,
·  Detecting & analysing the correlations,
·  Producing an analysis report with recommendations.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of a business school or university or equivalent specialising in General Business Administration and Economics.

You ideally have initial experience in this domain and you master the pack Office Microsoft.
You have some knowledge of MS-SharePoint / hypertext.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

English: advanced level.
