Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

You will join the team within the assembly centre and rotor and transmission test which is in charge of:

·  Industrialising of the centre's steering indicators,
·  Developing an integrated tool for production planning,
·  Developing a management tool for workload/workforce adequacy.

This internship will start on 9th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:

·  Producing the centre's dashboard by:

. Simplifying and automating the production of existing product indicators, mainly using Excel based on extractions from various tools,
. Simplifying the collection method (various indicator managers),
. Setting them up in a single dashboard, and harminosing them (format, reading logic, required comments, etc.),

·  Rationalising the various plannings of working parties workshops that are currently separated in different Excel files, in order to have a consolidated view of all plannings, especially for cross-functional functions (quality, bench operators) and for shared means (test benches, balancing benches),
·  Developing a tool enabling the adequate and continuous steering of workload/workforce ration, in order to identify:

. The necessary workshop skills to establish a workload plan and to reduce recruitment needs and/or necessary trainings,
. The peaks and troughs of the workload and to deduce the smoothed worload plan to be implemented in the workshop

Required skills

You are in the final year of an engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in General Engineering/IT.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and you have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent level.
