Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for a 6-month internship.

Within the Light Helicopters assembly line teams, you will work on defining and then deploying tools to improve the steering of the industrial performance.

This internship will start on 8th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will report directly to industrial costs entity, and your tasks will include:

·  Creating a “product cost warning” dashboard for anticipating the costs of labour and components,
·  Creating tools to improve the follow-up of pre-series and series equipment costs, - Implementing a follow-up tool for Earned Value Management (EVM) for military contracts.

Your tasks will include:

·  Performing a cost study and proposing alternative solutions,
·  Creating a referencing system of costs based on existing data,
·  Creating cost hypotheses,
·  Producing estimates and performing cost simulations,
·  Delivering cost technical dossiers,
·  Anticipating cost engineering.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school or business school, completing a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in General Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Finance.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.

You have good knowledge of industrial systems. You are meticulous and have analytical and synthesis skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
