Description of the job
Airbus (Toulouse) is looking for an intern for an internship of at least 4 months.
The ESKC department is responsible for the transverse management of Design Office deliverables, enabling the assembly of cabin and fuselage items, in accordance with the A350 industrial schedule. The team is split between Hamburg and Toulouse. Each member (HoV Engineering Integrator - HEI) is responsible for the customisation for one customer company in particular.
This internship will start in January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities
Your main tasks will involve:
· Providing a complete summary of HEI activities, in particular in the context of the progress of the mock-up (DMU Quality Gates), the Customisation Programme process (Fulfil Customer Order - FCO) and End-to-End quality milestones. This summary will include the interfaces with the other departments and the feedback from team members, and will be presented to the team at the end of the internship,
· Identifying, in the context of these processes, a list of root causes affecting the ramp-up of the A350 and the potential improvement actions,
· Contributing to the team's operational activities with respect to the first point, in particular in the use of the virtual mock-up (DMU).
You will be in contact with members from the A350 Design Office in France and in particular in Germany on a daily basis.
Required skills
You are in your 4th or 5th year of a degree in General Engineering.
· You ideally have initial experience in this field and you have general knowledge of engineering. Knowledge of CATIA V5 would be a plus.
· Good summarising skills.
· A strong team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.
English: advanced level,
French: advanced level,
German language skills would be a plus.
