Description of the job

Airbus Safran Launchers (Les Mureaux) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

Within the Ariane 5 FAL production unit, you will be responsible for the operational management of the sector improvement local project.

This internship will start on 15th January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

You will take part in the definition of the road map with the different stakeholders.
Then you will bring your support to all the project managers to develop and implement areas of progress in concrete terms.
You will conduct the monthly progress review and will ensure the updating of the visual management.
The local improvement project covers the full spectrum of the unit trades (industrial performances, methods, workshop) and is aiming at securing the customers expectations.
The Lean Manufacturing tools will be implemented in most of the projects.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school or a Master's degree or in the 5th year of university, specialising in Production/Industrial Engineering.

Ideally, you have initial work experience.
As the successful candidate, you are able to demonstrate dynamism and organisational quality to work in a multi-interface and multi-project context.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: intermediate level,
French: fluent.
