Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

You will join the Casing Machining Technical Support department.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your tasks will include:

·  Leading improvement working parties by applying all the methods and tools used to improve industrial processes (5S, SMED, Kaizen, Lean manufacturing, etc.)
·  Seeking to identify new technological solutions that could be used to reduce the cost of manufacturing by improving the capabilities of the existing processes and the level of quality of the products.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Mechanical Production Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are recognised for your meticulousness and your ability to solve problems,
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: beginner level,
French: fluent
