Description of the job

An internship in implementation of a digital framework for A350 standard parts support activities (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Toulouse, at Saint Martin site.

You will join the Electrical Standard Parts department which ensures parts availability (mechanical and electrical) across the entire lifecycle of the aircraft, be it design, assembly and installation, tests, or during procurement and supply chain & quality activities, right up-to in-service aircraft support.

The interactions range from various departments within Airbus to external suppliers.

The number of Standard Parts part-numbers handled crosses the 30,000 mark effortlessly. As a result, one of the major challenges is to seamlessly provide standard part related support during the aircraft life, irrespective of which phase the aircraft is, while processing the huge amount of data related to the parts.

You are expected to help create a framework using digital methods for enabling easy support, while handling the huge amount of data (both incoming and outgoing from the department), while ensuring its reliability and availability at all times.

This 6 months internship will start from September 2017 (date subject to some flexibility).
