Description of the job

Airbus Toulouse is looking for an intern for a 6-month internship.

This position is in aircraft simulator tests perimeter. Nominal Flight procedures are performed in Airbus Test Simulator in a specific system configuration before delivery on A350 aircraft. These tests allow assessing the whole A/C behavior, maturity and identifying the potential regressions.

Based on existing tests performed in flight tests, we would like:

·  to synthetize a procedure in an operational context that could be tested on simulator,
·  to validate on simulator the aircraft system batch before the deployment of this configuration in Airlines.

This procedure will allow informing earlier the Airbus community before flight tests about the potential regression.

This internship will start January, 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  collecting tests already performed in flight tests,
·  identifying the part that could be performed on simulator,
·  proposing a set of tests addressing overall A/C's systems in order to evaluate the A/C robustness, non-regression & maturity,
·  considering the Standard Operating Procedure to operate an Aircraft in Airline.

You will write the global scenario from A/C power-up to landing and maintenance tasks.

Required skills

You are in the 2nd year of a Master's degree or in the 5th year of an Engineering school specialized in Aerospace Engineering.

You ideally have initial experience in the domain and you have knowledge of aeronautic.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent.
