Description of the job

Airbus Helicopters (Marignane) is looking for an intern (m/f) for at least an 8-week internship.

Your main task will consists in the development of a handbook of sheet metal and composite structure part manufacturing non-conformities.

This internship will start on 2nd January 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks will include:
1/ Sheet metal part manufacturing non-conformities

·  Identifying sheet metal manufacturing processes and the associated non-conformities generated (visual and dimensional non-conformities)
·  Defining acceptance criteria with Quality and the Design Office (defining the level of acceptable quality)
·  Creating a handbook of non-conformities with photos and the characteristics of OK/Not OK samplings.

2/ Composite part manufacturing non-conformities

·  Identifying composite part manufacturing processes and the associated non-conformities generated (visual and dimensional non-conformities)
·  Defining acceptance criteria with Quality and the Design Office (defining the level of acceptable quality)
·  Creating a handbook of non-conformities with photos and the characteristics of OK/Not OK samplings.

Required skills

You are in the final year of engineering school, university or equivalent (5-year degree), specialising in Engineering/Materials.

You ideally have initial experience in this field.

You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: advanced level,
French: fluent level.
