Description of the job

Airbus Defence and Space (Elancourt) is looking for an intern for a 3 to 6-month internship.

Resource geolocation and information collection applications are part of the solutions offered by Airbus DS SLC to Public Safety forces. A huge amount of data is saved daily on servers and could to be analyzed further for better understanding of a situation or to detect weaknesses in operational procedures. The subject of this internship is to perform a prospective study on the way to realize and visualize analytics from the geolocalized data gathered by the Airbus DS SLC applications to support decision making.

This internship will start on 1st February 2017 (subject to some flexibility).

Tasks & accountabilities

Your responsibilities will include:

·  Refining the analytic trends on the data collected,
·  Studying and detailing in a report geoloc data analytics algorithm and result presentation,
·  Developing a geoloc data analytic tool to demonstrate the expected results (according to work progress, the tool could be experimented on a real environment to demonstrate the efficiency of geoloc data analytics on decision making).

Required skills

You are in the final year of a Master's degree, or of an Engineering school, specialising in Telecom and Networks.

The knowledge of Data analytics would be a plus.

You ideally have initial experience.
You are a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills.

English: Advanced level,
French: fluent level.
