Description of the job

An Internship - General Procurement Strategy (m/f) has arisen within Airbus (Commercial Aircraft) in Toulouse.
You will join the General Procurement which is in charge of managing the end to end Procurement process for all non-product related goods and services for all the divisions and sites of Airbus Group.
The General Procurement department is driving General Procurement's Strategy, Footprint and Governance in line with Airbus and Procurement strategies, anticipating challenges and trends and is contributing to General Procurement Productivity by monitoring General Procurement Performance.
This internship will start on September 4th 2017 (Date subject to some flexibility) for a duration of 6 months.

Tasks & accountabilities

Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:

·  Define and implement an adequate sourcing strategy for digital services, preparing the General Procurement digitalization strategy.
·  Identify digitalization opportunities in the context of Procurement and particularly indirect Procurement services, exploring key market trends and company best practices
·  Describe impact of digitalization for sourcing processes, instruments and new ways of workings with internal customers, stakeholders and suppliers.
·  Develop the sourcing strategy for digital services involving related commodities teams and internal and external business partners; implement the strategy with the relevant commodities

Required skills

You will have the following skills and experience:

·  Educated to degree level BAC+5 (master degree) or (equivalent) in Business administration or a related discipline.
·  A background in digitalization would be a plus.
·  Interested in Procurement and Project management with good computer skills

(Proficient in MS office)

·  Ease of communication, proactive, autonomous, with a good team spirit.
·  Language Skills: negotiation level of English
